Korean War US Heavy weapons

US Heavy weapons from Pendraken Korean War range, mix of HMG, mortars, RR and bazookas.

60mm (L) and 81mm mortars (R).

4.2" Mortars.

105mm RR.

Bazooka teams.

0.30" Cal MGs.

British heavy fire support

new 105mm RR from Pendraken.

Some useful anti tank and bunker busting firepower.

NKPA Heavy Weapons

Some additions to the NKPA firepower - will also use for Chinese so the 57mm RR fit in.

L-R, HMG, 57mm RR, 75mm RR.

HMGs - fire support and discouraging retreat in one package!

57mm RR

75mm RR.

More British Commandos

Pendraken late WW2 commandos - plenty of firepower up close with K-guns and SMGs, will use them in Korean war raids too.

Compact but potent force.

Flags ended up a bit big but any smaller and they looked a bit iffy.

Decided to have 2 separate K-gun teams per mini platoon.

Infantry are nicely detailed and animated.

Korean War Centurions

New Pendraken models - they come up really nicely but the side skirts are a bit fiddly to align, ended up using a sliver of coffee stirrer to keep them vertical.

Should give the Communist armour a run for their money!!

Ratte - Serious Heavy Metal

Ok, forgot to put this in the Heavy entry somehow - 1/144 Ratte with Dragon 1/144 Panther for scale:

I already have a few Dragon Maus models in 1/144 so decided this needed flank cover, hence 4AA turrets and a couple of extra firepower options!!

Camo is a bit redundant on this size of beastie but went for what would look like forest from a Lancaster!!

Not what you'd want to see bearing down on you.

Field Defences

OK, a few days of leave and got through a nice lot of fortifications (10mm and 1/144 scale game wise) - I tend to accumulate lots of stuff and batch paint to avoid obvious colour issues over time but not always bang on due to depth of texture on stuff as I use inks and washes a lot.

Revetments I got off ebay - mixed up the order so have 24 large and 48 small ones....

Rear aspect - nice castings.

Timecast bunkers and objective markers.

Have plenty of each, I do have way too much terrain to be fair!

More Timecast and some N gauge railway models for British bunkers (Metcalfe models), camo net is bandage dyed green with crushed up green tea for the scatter.

Tent city - same ebay guy as the revetments.

German bunkers from Steve Oates at the Baggage Train.

Log MG bunkers, again from the Baggage Train.
