NKPA/USSR Armour - WW2 and Korea

NKPA/USSR Armour - WW2 and Korea, 12mm scale as with the rest, mixture of Minifigs (T-34/85, SU-76, SU-76i and T-70), Pendraken (IS-3) and Butlers Printed Models (T-28 and KV-2).

Something to give the somewhat outnumber UN armour from previous posts pause - I also have a lot of other late war USSR stuff in Dragon/Takara pre-paints (literally hundreds of nasties from T-34 to ISU-122/152, JS-2 etc.).

Heavy metalski.

WW2 oddities - some texture on slopes and curves from 3D printing which are exaggerated as I use a lot of ink was and dry brush but nice models - paint finish is slightly different to the lead ones due to higher absorption into the plastic.

Will give the UN heavies some headaches.

More Kursk based but still useful in post WW-2/UN context.

Fire support - Minifigs SU-76s need crew adding - think I've got some spare somewhere.

Speedy but fragile!

Less speedy and much less fragile! Will pack a punch en masse.

Korean War US/ROK Armour

Another load of heavy metal goodness, a bunch of US/ROK vehicles that can also be used in my late WW2 collection in some cases - lighter armour in the form of M-24 Chaffees up to M-46 Pattons with a bunch of SP-AAA half tracks and M-19s. Models from Pendraken except the M-24s which are Perrin.

Entire Force in all its glory!

M-26 and M-45.

M-24s.

M-46 and M-41 (M-41 not used in Korea but technically available and I like the models).

SP-AAA, M-15s, M-16s and M-19s.

British heavy metal in Korea

British heavy metal in Korea, always loved British metal, Maiden, Priest, Saxon etc. but my Korean war Brits needed some as well!! Pendraken - a troop of Conquerors for the British and some Saladins for the ANZACs - I know they never used them in Korea in either case but what the hell, can also use for Cold War goes hot mid 1950s.

Saladins are around 90% of standard Sherman size for scale........

10mm Infantry for scale, big beasties!
Lovely models.

10mm US Korean War

Pendraken 10mm Korean War troops - heavy weapons posted earlier (https://ww2pacificgamer.blogspot.com/2020/01/korean-war-us-heavy-weapons.html), taken a while to get back to the main force:

Entire force with US 48 star flags and USMC flags - not sure the red flags are a great idea when I add the Chinese but had loads of command models so decided to do both. Central unit with 5 figures a base are used for elite/assault troops to make easy to differentiate. Tried to do camo helmets for the USMC but at 10mm too tricky to tell apart 3 feet away so went for different commands instead.

Command, FAO/FAC and snipers.

6mm Sci Fi walkers

GZG walkers from the 15mm range to be used as 6mm heavy walkers, the gunspiders are great and the large walkers have a distinct ED-209 feel to them, light ones are rocket armed.

WW-II/Korean US Armour

1/144 Shermans, some Trumpeter, some Pegasus and some Revell kits, the Trumpeter and Pegasus were done in basic green so did washes and highlights to bring up the detail. Revell Shermans have 4 standard 75mm, 4 conversions to flame tanks and 4 to Sherman 105s. Armoured cars had a crewman added.

105s.

Flamethrowers.

Standard Shermans and Greyhound armoured cars.
